How did the Stamps Scholarship help shape your undergraduate experience?
The Stamps Scholarship gave me the financial freedom to focus on what I wanted to achieve in college without additional pressure or stress. Additionally, the Stamps Scholarship helped me fund my study abroad experience in France, which is one of the highlights of my college career.
Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your freshman self?
Do not be afraid to meet and hang out with people that are different from you. Appreciate and embrace the diversity of students that your school provides, since you can learn things about others and about yourself through these interactions.
Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
My parents have had a huge impact on my college career. They have given me advice, support, and love whenever I needed it, and have pushed me to achieve the best throughout my college career.
What’s your favorite Stamps Scholar memory?
Meeting Penny and Roe Stamps when they visited Georgia Tech and sharing with them the opportunities that I have been able to embrace thanks to the Stamps Scholarship.
What comes next?
I will be working for VMware as a New Graduate Systems Engineer in Austin, TX. I will be starting mid-July.
