How did the Stamps Scholarship help shape your undergraduate experience?
The Stamps Scholarship gave me the opportunity to travel the world and gain a new perspective in addition to giving me a community at Purdue. I am always amazed at my fellow Boilermaker Stamps and am so thankful for how they have motivated me and what they have taught me.
Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your freshman self?
Stop worrying so much and eat more cookies. Looking back at my freshman self I was constantly thinking about what would come next and worried about the possibilities. Thankfully I have learned to take each day as it comes and trust that I will end up where I need to be.
Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
One of my student organization advisors has had the greatest impact on my college career. She has mentored and guided me for all four years, allowing me to grow personally and professionally, while always giving great advice and jokes.
What’s your favorite Stamps Scholar memory?
My favorite Stamps Scholars memory was showing fellow scholars around Purdue (and playing some wallyball!) during the Purdue Stamps Conference. It was so much fun to learn more about each of the other scholars while showing off my favorite university.
What comes next?
I am headed to law school in the fall. I am still deciding which school to accept but have narrowed it down to the University of Chicago, Duke, or Georgetown.
