How did the Stamps Scholarship help shape your undergraduate experience?
The Stamps Scholarship was a defining characteristic of my undergraduate experience. I likely would not have attended Miami without it, and three of my most cherished college memories all came directly from Stamps related events.

Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your freshman self?
The biggest advice I would give my freshman self is to seek out the wisdom and experience of older students. I came in with a lot of confidence and big plans for my college career but I think I could have avoided a lot of headache over the years if I had taken the time to ask for help sooner.

Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
My girlfriend that I started dating during our freshman year at Miami has without a doubt had the greatest impact on me. She is the first to celebrate with me when things go well, and the first to support me when they don’t. There have been countless times she believed in me even when I didn’t and this trust is truly special for me.

What’s your favorite Stamps Scholar memory?
My favorite memory was meeting and running with a Cuban half-marathoner in Havana while participating in a study abroad trip that would not have been possible without the Stamps enrichment funds.

What comes next?
I am working in Equity Research for the Cleveland Research Company starting in July. It is a company I interned with last summer, and I am excited to re-join and make a quick impact.
