How did the Stamps Scholarship help shape your undergraduate experience?
Without the Stamps Scholarship, I likely would not have been able to take advantage of all the wonderful opportunities that presented themselves to me during my time at Georgia Tech. Through the financial support of the Scholarship, I was able to study abroad in Greece/Italy and in Germany and was able to spend my last spring break teaching English to local kids in Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic.

Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your freshman self?
I would advise my freshman self to spend time enjoying these years in college: enjoy the relationships, the city, the academic opportunities. Also if a door opens up, don’t hesitate! Jump right in, push your comfort zone, and seek to grow through these challenges.

Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
So many people! Those who come first to my mind include my family, my pastor, and my housemates.

What comes next?
I will be interning for two years with Reformed University Fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. My hope after that is to attend seminary, possibly back in Atlanta!
