Degree: B.S in Computer Engineering, Minors in Spanish and Entrepreneurship
How did the Stamps Scholarship help shape your undergraduate experience?
The Stamps Scholarship allowed me to graduate from a highly ranked engineering program, attend numerous professional conferences, and broaden my understanding of the world through study abroad.
Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your freshman self?
Dedicate yourself to things that you truly enjoy, and always give your health priority!
Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
The faculty behind Purdue’s Honors First Year Engineering program. It was in those two semesters that I learned that Computer Engineering was the major for me and that I am interested in studying Engineering Education in the future.
Please share your most memorable Stamps Scholar experience.
For a service project one semester, we went to a Purdue-owned farm to pick apples that would be offered in the dining courts. I had no idea the farm was so close to campus, and I really enjoyed exploring the farm and bonding with the other Scholars at that event!
Plans after graduation?
I will be working as a software developer in Houston, Texas, and I plan to return to graduate school for Computer Engineering in a few years.
