How did the Stamps Scholarship help shape your undergraduate experience?
The Georgia Tech Stamps President’s Scholarship enabled me to study abroad twice, summit a mountain in Argentina, attend numerous conferences, and gave me a community of support throughout my undergraduate experience. Without this program none of this would have been possible.

Tell us a piece of wisdom you’ve learned over the past four years.
Always ask what is possible. Then try to push it a little further.

Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
Working with my peers to build Georgia Tech’s first satellite, Prox‚Äê1 has had the greatest impact on my college career. I learned how massive a single project can be.

What’s your favorite Stamps Scholar memory?
My favorite memory is backpacking through Yosemite National Park with my fellow scholars. I made incredible friends and had incredible discussion while running from bears and falling into rivers.

What comes next?
I will return to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a mechanical engineer. Before going to work, I will spend three weeks hiking the John Muir Trail with two of my fellow Georgia Tech Stamps President’s Scholars.
