Degree: B.S. in Exercise Science
How did the Stamps Scholarship help shape your undergraduate experience?
It allowed me to study abroad at the University of Leeds and realize my dream of playing a sport professionally (for at least a little time).
Tell us a piece of wisdom you’ve learned over the past four years.
Don’t just throw away your money on material items or lazy lunches where you got fast food instead of making it at home. Spend wisely so that you get to use it on real experiences–plane tickets are getting cheaper and cheaper!
Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
Daniel Clements, my fellow Stamps Scholar at the University of South Carolina, has always believed in me. Especially when I didn’t believe in myself.
What’s your favorite Stamps Scholar memory?
Rafting down the Ocoee River during my first convention, the entire raft flipped out except for me. I went and picked everyone else up with the raft and the guide let me steer for the rest of the journey. That was some “outdoor leadership” fun.
What comes next?
Law school!
