The Stamps Scholarship shaped my undergraduate experience by placing an expectation of excellence and leadership. It has allowed me to study abroad and to meet a very distinguished group of peers which I otherwise would not have been able to do.

You should do what challenges you and strive to be challenged throughout your life.
Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
Dr. Li-yang Sung, as he encouraged me to switch my major to mathematics and made me fall in love with Computational math in particular.
What’s your favorite Stamps Scholar memory?
When Joe juggled and told life stories at the 2015 SSNC talent show and got a standing ovation from Roe himself.
What comes next?
Internship in High Performance Computing with Hewlette-Packard over the summer in Houston, then graduate school for my PhD in Scientific Computing at Florida State University in the fall.
