How did the Stamps Scholarship help shape your undergraduate experience?
The Stamps Scholarship Program introduced me to my closest friends and the most selfless mentors. I found constant encouragement and guidance within the program, and having a community in my corner was invaluable.

Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your freshman self?
Believe in yourself and your abilities. You are supported, capable, and wired for success. Put in the work, trust the process, and leave the rest to God.

Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
My mom! I would not be graduating Georgia Tech without her. She listens to my rambling and constant worrying, and she supports me no matter what path I choose to follow. I cannot fathom the unconditional love she has for me.

What’s your favorite Stamps Scholar memory?
Being an expedition facilitator for a Tech Trek in Iceland! We saw the most amazing views and enjoyed hot springs. I loved seeing the incoming freshmen push through some really hard days and become more confident in their abilities.

What comes next?
I will be taking a gap year before (hopefully) starting medical school in fall 2019! I will be researching and volunteering at Grady hospital during my gap year.
