Degree: B.S. in Business Administration
How did the Stamps Scholarship help shape your undergraduate experience?
The Stamps Scholarship allowed me the amazing opportunity to attend USC; where I was able to learn experientially both inside and outside the classroom. Thanks to the Stamps Scholarship, I was able to spend my time the way I wanted to. I traveled abroad every year through an academic program, interned at various organizations, gave back to the community through service, and focused on learning instead of worrying about additional financial burdens.
Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your freshman self?
I would advise my freshman self to not be afraid of failure and rejection. While both are scary, experiences with both help mold you into a stronger, more confident person. It took me a while to acclimate to college because I did let failure get me down, but in hindsight, without that rejection and failure, I would not be who I am today.
Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
My friends and family have had the greatest impact on me throughout my college career. They have supported me through the ups and downs and have helped mold me in to the person I am today.
Please share your most memorable Stamps Scholar experience.
My most memorable Stamps Scholar experiences have been the conventions in 2013 and 2015 in Michigan and Georgia respectively. I have made friends at both that I am still in contact with today. Additionally, I was able to use my exceptional funding to help cover the costs for studying abroad in Finland.
Plans after graduation?
I will be working at PwC in San Francisco doing management consulting as an Advisory Associate.
