How did the Stamps Scholarship help shape your undergraduate experience?
The Stamps Scholarship made so many opportunities possible for me through financial, extracurricular, and personal resources. I am so appreciative that I was able to travel, research, and explore because of this incredible support!

Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your freshman self?
To ask more questions! There is always something new to learn, and never a reason to feel ashamed for what you don’t know yet.

Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
All of my mentors in the Economics department at the University of Georgia have really helped me develop my skills and find my place in the field. Their inspiration and encouragement has made all the difference.

Please share your most memorable Stamps Scholar experience.
I’ll never forget reaching the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro at sunrise after four days of hiking when I was studying abroad in Tanzania! It was a dream come true.

Plans after graduation?
I will be pursuing a Master of Philosophy in Economic and Social History at the University of Oxford.
