How did the Stamps Scholarship help shape your undergraduate experience?
The enrichment fund that the Stamps Scholarship provided has encouraged me to pursue a variety of diverse experiences that have all affirmed my interest in healthcare. From studying Traditional Chinese Medicine and the factors that contributed to its philosophies in Kunming, China to becoming an EMT, Stamps has opened many avenues for me to pursue these interests.

Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your freshman self?
I would advise my freshman year self to put himself outside his comfort zone much more and to meet as many people as possible, because the college years pass by much more quickly than you realize.

Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
From my parents, to my lab mentors, advisors, and the Stamps scholarship program, several people have greatly and positively impacted my college career in undeniable ways. Out of all my role models, my parents had the greatest impact on my college career, by encouraging me to pursue my dreams and convincing me to never give up.

What comes next?
After graduating, I plan to pursue a career in medicine, starting at medical school in Georgetown University. I am excited for the opportunity to explore neurological and emergency medicine throughout my medical school career and beyond.
