Degree: B.S. in Aerospace Engineering
How did the Stamps Scholarship help shape your undergraduate experience?
Not only did it give me some awesome travel, leadership, and networking opportunities, but it also gave me the freedom and encouragement to achieve big goals.
Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your freshman self?
Don’t stick to the status quo, find joy in hard work, say “yes, please” to any government funded travel, and call Mom and Dad more.
Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
My friends and peers. I am so grateful for my spectacular senior mentors, but it’s really all the friendships I’ve made at the Naval Academy that have gotten me through my time here.
Please share your most memorable Stamps Scholar experience.
Caving (and inadvertently free soloing…) with the outdoor leadership folks during the Stamps Scholars National Convention.
Plans after graduation?
I’ll be enrolled at the University of Cambridge for an MPhil in Technology Policy. Afterwards, I plan to attend Navy Flight School.
