How did the Stamps Scholarship help shape your undergraduate experience?
Stamps gave me a group of people that I could always turn to. The bond among my cohort is one that can’t really be explained from the outside, I know that I could talk about anything to anybody in my scholarship class and they would truly listen and give me great advice.

Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your freshman self?
I would tell my freshman self to worry less about what other people are doing and focus on myself and pursuing my passions.

Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
My two best friends that I met freshman year have really shaped my college experience. They are my shoulder to cry on, my listening ear, and the first people I want to share good news with. Some of my best memories of college have just been sitting on the couch in our apartment talking about life.

What’s your favorite Stamps Scholar memory?
It’s a tie! One would be the Purdue Regional Stamps Conference in 2016 – I loved getting to meet other scholars in a small group setting. The other would be my freshman expedition to the Canadian Rockies – so many memories were made and it strengthened the bond within my cohort.

What comes next?
I will be moving to Houston, Texas to work for ExxonMobil!
