How did the Stamps Scholarship help shape your undergraduate experience?
The past four years of my life would have been radically different had it not been for the Stamps Scholarship. If anything, it gave me an audacity to pursue whatever I set my mind too, just knowing in the back of my mind that there were people who believed in me and my abilities.
Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your freshman self?
Enjoy the good times, and don’t feel bad about focusing on yourself and your goals when you need to.
Who has had the greatest impact on you throughout your college career and how so?
I will be forever indebted to my professors and mentors for guiding and teaching me, but it was my peers and out conversations that challenged me to introspect, and broaden my perspective.
Please share your most memorable Stamps Scholar experience.
Hands down, because of Stamps I was able to take courses in sustainability and natural resources with a field component in Antarctica.
